WILDLIFE
“Capturing moments in the extraordinary lives of wild animals, revealing their emotions, personalities, struggles, behaviours and sharing their stories with the world”
“Animals have a way to touch my soul that no one else can.”
What I love most about wildlife photography goes far beyond the creative side of taking pictures. For me, it’s about the experience of being fully immersed in nature — hearing the sounds of the forest, breathing in the scent of the bush, watching the sunrise, and witnessing life unfold all around me.
At first glance, animals may seem to live a life completely different from ours. But when you look closer, you see how much we have in common. Their struggles, their joys, their relationships — everything reminds me of our own world. Some live in complex social groups, others prefer solitude. Some are fierce in survival, others gentle and loving with their young. Each has a unique personality, and it’s this individuality that I strive to capture in my photography.
My goal is to tell stories that remain untold. With patience, care, and respect, I aim to reveal their emotions, personalities, and behaviors — moments that touch the soul and inspire wonder.
If my work can make even a small positive difference in the lives of these animals, I would be deeply grateful. Together, we can share these stories and create awareness that helps protect wildlife for generations to come.
I began my wildlife photography journey in zoos, where I spent countless hours observing and photographing my favorite animals. Those moments allowed me to be close to wildlife, something that isn’t always financially possible when it comes to seeing animals in the wild. Zoos can be a first step for many people, a place where curiosity and love for wild animals begin to grow.
Over time, this experience not only improved my photography but also deepened my understanding of animal behavior. Still searching for my path, I completed several internships as a zookeeper. Although many zoos contribute to wildlife conservation, seeing the behind-the-scenes reality and the concrete night enclosures made me realize that this environment wasn’t where my heart truly belonged.
That realization inspired me to take my career in a different direction, one that connects me to animals and nature in a more authentic and compassionate way.
Below is a selection of some of my favorite photographs of animals in captivity, images that mark the beginning of my journey as a wildlife photographer.
