Stories from the field, documenting the people and work behind wildlife conservation
Wildlife conservation is full of stories that are rarely seen by the public — the long days in the field, the dedication of the people working to protect animals, and the fragile moments that can make the difference between survival and loss.
Around the world, conservationists, researchers, veterinarians and rangers dedicate their lives to protecting wildlife and the ecosystems they depend on. They work to monitor endangered species, rescue injured animals, reduce human–wildlife conflict and protect habitats that are increasingly under pressure. Their work is essential in a time when many species are facing rapid decline due to habitat loss, poaching, and human expansion.
Through my photography and films, I aim to document and share these stories — helping to give wildlife a voice and bring attention to the people working tirelessly to protect them. I’m especially drawn to the work that happens behind the scenes: conservation research, wildlife monitoring, rescue efforts, and the everyday dedication required to safeguard animals and their habitats.
Having worked hands-on with animals in zoos, wildlife sanctuaries, and conservation projects in the field, I value being close to the work itself. Understanding the environment, the people involved, and the animals at the heart of the story allows me to capture moments that feel real and meaningful.
For me, visual storytelling is a powerful way to create connection. Images and films can help people see wildlife not just as beautiful animals, but as vital parts of ecosystems whose survival depends on the choices we make as humans.
By documenting conservation work and sharing these experiences with a wider audience, I hope to help raise awareness and inspire greater appreciation for the incredible wildlife we share this planet with.
Below you can find a selection of conservation projects and stories I’ve had the privilege to document.
